Vox created a half-day workshop which we have run on a number of occasions for both Business Link Berkshire & Wiltshire and Gloucestershire Business Link.
It might sound a bit like shooting ourselves in the foot, but at Vox we pride ourselves on being as helpful to clients as possible and if that means teaching them how to create and handle their own PR, then we are happy to oblige.

At Vox we created a half-day workshop which we have run on a number of occasions for both Business Link Berkshire & Wiltshire and Gloucestershire Business Link. Delegates from small businesses needing PR advice attended, and in their feedback 99 per cent rated the seminar as “excellent” or “exceeding expectations”.

The aim of the seminar was to give delegates some pointers on PR: its place in modern-day business world, how to use PR to promote their businesses effectively, its uses – and abuses – and how to turn bad publicity into good publicity.

“Just because we are public relations experts, doesn’t mean we should collude in creating an air of mystery around it,” said Vox director Sue Pycroft. “Giving a helpful, informative seminar on PR and some pointers on how to build up strong media relations – as well as how to deal with any public relations disasters - is not breaking any secrets of the magic circle, but offering a more comprehensive service to our clients.”
